An over-arching term that describes that the policies and procedures implemented by a network administrator to avoid and keep track of unauthorized access, exploitation, modification, or denial of the network and network resources.

Advantages

2. Prevent cyber attack
3. Centralized updates
4. Centrally control

Disadvantages

1. Costly set up
2. Time-consuming
3. Required skilled staff
4. Careless admins

Why is network security are soooo important?

Interrupted business, data loss.
